Announcement and first call for delagetes CDN would like to announce the 6th Network Meeting that will take place from 17th to 19th of October 2008 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event will be hosted by Youth movement Revolt. CDN Executive committee would like to ask you to nominate the delegates to the meeting. Every member organisation has the right to nominate two delegates to the network meeting and every partner organisation has the right to nominate one delegate to the network meeting. CDN has arranged the accommodations, meals and the meeting please and CDN will cover these costs for all the delegates. CDN will also fully cover the travel cost of one delegate from every member organisation. Our financial possibility is still not allowing us to cover all travel costs of the partner organisation delegate nor second delegate of the member organisations. There will be no participation fee set for this event. In order to prepare this event well we would kindly ask you to send us the name of your delegate(s) as soon as possible. As well, it would be great if you can just shortly reply to this e mail and tell us about possible time of decision in your organisation related to the delegate(s). The delegates are expected to arrive to Tuzla on 17th of October before 16.00 CET and depart only after 14.00 CET on 19th of October. The delegates should arrange their travelling in most environmental friendly and economic manner possible. All other details will follow.
Call for amendments on the general documents of CDN Dear member and partner organisations,
We would like to ask for your amendments on the statutory and general documents of CDN for the upcoming Network meeting (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina 17. - 19. October 2008), as there are:
v CDN Statute v CDN Political Platform v CDN Network Meeting Rules and Procedures v CDN Mission statement 2009 – 2010 v CDN Resolutions
Mission statement for 2007-2008 is a document explaining the direction of work of the organization in this period and sets the general line for the work of the next Executive Committee. Here by we call for proposals for Mission statement 2009 – 2010.
Apart from these documents that are open for your proposals for changes, we would also like to give you opportunity for proposing the resolutions. These are the documents that should serve to create a stand point of our organization and promote our values.
We would like to ask your organization to take a look at the documents, discuss possible changes and if you find appropriate, make the amendments. Amendments should be clear and precise.

Call for new member and partner organizations We would like to announce a call for the new Member Organizations and Partner Organizations. At the upcoming Network meeting (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 17. - 19. October 2008), we are going to decide upon the new member organisations and partner organisations of CDN - Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe. According to the Statutes, organisations based in European Non-EU member country can apply to become member organisation of CDN and organisations based in EU country can apply to become partner of CDN. More information about CDN, our principles, our documents, work in the past and our plans can be found at: www.cdnee.org. We would like to open a call, herewith, for the candidates for members and partners of CDN. Call for the members of the CDN Executive Committee
We would like to announce a call for the new members of the Executive Committee of CDN. At the upcoming Network meeting (Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 17. - 19. October 2008), we are going to elect new Executive Committee of CDN.
Members of the Executive Committee are responsible for running CDN together with the secretariat support in between two Network Meetings. More details about responsibilities of CDN EC members and the election procedure can be found in the statutes (attached).
If your organisation wishes to candidate a person for membership in the Executive Committee, please send us an official letter of support. ONLY CDN MEMBER AND PARTNER ORGANISATIONS CAN CANDIDATE A MEMBER OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
The candidate for the Executive Committee - should be motivated to work in an international environment,
- dedicated to goals of CDN,
- willing and available for frequent traveling, taking part in the meetings of the EC (around 4 during the year), events we organise and likely several other occasion
- regularly available on the e-mail for the on going discussions, work and decision making
Since English is the official language all the candidates NEED to have good English skills (written and communicational).
