This year the Federation of Young European Greens celebrated its 20th anniversary during the annual General Assembly, held between the 9th and 11th of May in Berlin. More than 100 young greens from all over Europe gathered in the capital of Germany to attend the event. Irina, Mariana and Benjamin of the Executive Committee of CDN and the new Network Coordinator Milan Mitrovic also participated in the GA.

The first two days were dedicated to a conference about the green movement. During a panel Irina had the chance to present the work of CDN and to discuss with the delegates what the future of a network like CDN is.

The last two days were the days of the General Assembly, during which a new Executive Committee of FYEG, as well as a Secretary General were elected. Furthermore, FYEG accepted four new candidate organizations coming from Slovakia, Georgia, Armenia and South Tyrol and welcomed two new full-member organization - Gron Ungdom from Sweden and The Young Greens from Andorra.

After the GA the representatives of CDN had the chance to meet the new Executive Committee and Secretary General of FYEG. The main focus of the joint meeting was put on how CDN and FYEG can cooperate for the development of the green movement in Europe and in particular, in the regions that are priority for them. Both CDN and FYEG expressed a strong will to work together in the upcoming year on developing the joint ideas.
