27. May 2008. At its last meeting in Berlin, 8th- 9th of May, the current Executive Committee of CDN has decided, to use a Statutory right and invite 2 additional members – Vesna Jusup and Gordan Isabegovic - to become part of the current CDN Executive Committee, until this years’ Network Meeting in October, when a new EC will be elected by our MOs through the usual voting procedure.
The EC of CDN has 2 new members! As you already know, since the last Network Meeting, the CDN Executive Committee has been working without the full number of members which has made our work in CDN more difficult than usually. Moreover, at the next Network Meeting which will take place in October this year, a new EC will be elected and we anticipate this year a substantial change in the structure of the EC (some EC members will not be entitled to a new candidature because of the limitation in the number of mandates mentioned in our statutes). Experienced EC members will give the floor to new enthusiastic young Greens EC members. For this to succeed smoothly, we must already start the transfer of experience from the current EC to other potential candidates in our MOs. In these circumstances, at its last meeting in Berlin, 8th- 9th of May, the current EC of CDN has decided, to use a Statutory right and invite 2 additional members – Vesna Jusup and Gordan Isabegovic - to become part of the current CDN Executive Committee, until this years’ NM in October, when a new EC will be elected by our MOs through the usual voting procedure. This is needed for CDN at this moment in order to improve the capacity of the EC and also to start implementing experience transfer.
