Introduction In order to make CDN to be fully functional organisation that is reflecting interest of its members and develops work dedicated to support cooperation in Eastern Europe, we aim at introducing changes in the internal structure that will support this process. This all will basically make the current situation also the official structure and the processes we did best so far will become our official activities. We had a bit higher expectations of our current possibilities in the past and the practice in last two years showed the way to move in the future. Membership A youth organisation based in one of the countries that is not member of the European Union can become member of CDN through the standard application procedure. A youth organisation based in one of the countries that is member of the European Union can become partner organisation of CDN through the standard application procedure. Member organisation of CDN have a right to two delegates with voting right at the Network Meeting and have full right to nominate its candidate for any organisational group or submit amendments to any organisational document of CDN. Partner organisation of CDN have a right to send one delegate with no voting right to the Network Meeting and have full right to nominate its candidate for any organisational group or submit amendments to any organisational document of CDN. Both member organisation and partner organisation have the same right to participate at the events that CDN is organising. For the Network meeting CDN is going to cover all related costs (travel, accommodations, meals, and visa) for one delegate from a member organisation. CDN is not obligated to cover any costs of second delegate of the member organisation nor costs of a partner organisation delegate. CDN should try to find funds for supporting the costs of second member organisation delegate and one delegate of partner organisation. In the Executive Committee of CDN at least ¾ of the members should come from member organisations, at least 1/3 should be of opposite gender (aiming at ½) and at least ¾ of members have to be younger then 30 (aiming at ½). Network Meeting The Network Meeting is taking place in ordinary sessions once a year, in November or December. It has a full power to decide on all the documents and bodies of the organisation. Executive Committee The Executive Committee meets in ordinary session four times a year. Aim is to have two independent meetings (in February or March and in August or September) and two meetings connected to activities (in July or August connected to Summer Camp and in November or December connected to Network Meeting). The Executive Committee consists of five persons mandated by Network Meeting. They have full decision making power concerning general management of the organisation and project activities. They do not have specific tasks to fulfil in between two meetings, but are obligated to follow the work of the organisation and the office and give guidelines for improvement and development. At every meeting they are approving the reports of the work done in the previous period concerning the project and office coordination and are deciding on projects that CDN wants to support and on policy of daily management of the organisation. The Executive Committee will develop internal rules of procedures for the work of the committee and for the office and project management. Activities CDN aims to be a support centre with full ability to assist any of our member or partner organisations in realising their international cooperation project idea. This idea should be topically and geographically reflecting the needs and interests of CDN member organisations. If a member or partner organisation of CDN wants to organise an international activity they should submit their proposal to the Executive Committee. At the next meeting, at the latest, Executive Committee of CDN has to decide if this project will be supported and inform on this the submitting group within 10 days. CDN Executive Committee then gives mandate to the CDN project manager and office coordinator to prepare all necessary support for this project, organise preparations, implementation and follow up and regularly report to the Executive Committee on the stages of achievement in the project. Daily management CDN wants to develop fully functional office that is responsible for daily management of the organisation, complete project follow up, financial management and regular reporting to the Executive Committee. In order to achieve this CDN is relaying on one full time office coordinator and CDN Project coordinator. Their tasks, responsibilities area and mandate are subject of decision of the Executive Committee. Aim of the office is to host volunteers or even more paid employees working on the programs CDN decides are important for us (regional workshops, campaigns, volunteers exchange, EVS, etc.) and that are involving all of our members and several partners. This way the scope of our activities will broaden.
