CDN Network Meeting 2008 - Calls and Announcements

7. July 2008.

As part of preparations for upcoming CDN Network meeting, 17-19 October 2008, Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, CDN is announcing call for ammendments on the general documents, call for new member and partner organizations and call for Executive Committee members. CDN Summer Camp 2008 - Participants list
30. Jun 2008.

The Prep Team of the CDN summer camp 2008 - “Youth culture as a sustainable path to democratic society” held its meeting and afterwards continued email selection process. Here you can find list of participants selected by prep team. The final deadline for confirmation of your participation is Wednesday, 3rd of July 2008. On Friday 5th of July we aim to have final list of participants.

CDN is announcing 6th Network Meeting

26th June 2008.

CDN would like to announce the 6th Network Meeting that will take place from 17th to 19th of October 2008 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event will be hosted by Youth movement Revolt. Every member organisation has the right to nominate two delegates to the network meeting and every partner organisation has the right to nominate one delegate to the network meeting. In order to prepare this event well we would kindly ask you to send us the name of your delegate(s) as soon as possible. Deadline for the registration of the delegates is 5th of September 2008.

CDN Summer Camp 2008 - Financial managament of the project
23. June 2008.

The participant shall organise the journey in the most economic manner. The participant is encouraged to use more environmental friendly means of transport whenever possible (trains or buses instead of plans, collective transport instead of the car travel, etc.) The participation fee for this event is set up to be 40 euro for participants coming from the European Union member states and 30 euro for all the other countries. The travel reimbursement will be done according to the General rules of CDN Financial Management of the projects (stated bellow). The amount that will be reimbursed to a participant of this event is 70% of his/her actual travel costs. The maximum amounts applied by this rule can not excide 220 euro

CDN Summer Camp received financial support from Mr. Kusstatscher

3. Jun 2008.

Member of the European Parliament Mr. Sepp Kusstatscher, decided to support our Summer Camp “Youth culture as sustainable path to democratic society”, that will be held in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 20th till 27th July 2008. We are very happy about this news! We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Kusstatscher for his will to support us on this way. This improved our optimism that we will have successful summer meeting!

CDN Executive Committe meeting - 8th to 9th May 2008, Berlin, Germany

27. May 2008.

The Executive Committee meeting took place in Berlin, 8th and 9th of May 2008. This was a first Executive Committee meeting prepared and facilitated by new CDN Network Coordinator Milan Mitrovic. Lot of time past from last CDN EC meeting even though EC had several phone meetings. One of the decisions from this meeting is to create a summary of the minutes of each meeting which then will be published on our website. Please check…

The Executive Committee of CDN has 2 new members!

27. May 2008.

At its last meeting in Berlin, 8th- 9th of May, the current Executive Committee of CDN has decided, to use a Statutory right and invite 2 additional members – Vesna Jusup and Gordan Isabegovic - to become part of the current CDN Executive Committee, until this years’ Network Meeting in October, when a new EC will be elected by our MOs through the usual voting procedure.

CDN Gender Group - Call for new coordinator

22. May 2008.

CDN – Cooperation and Development Network in Eastern Europe is looking for a new Gender Group Coordinator to take on the challenge of re-organizing and re-vitalizing the activity of its Working Group on gender related issue in South-Eastern Europe. The Gender Group Coordinator will be in charge of coordinating the overall work and activities of the CDN Gender Group and will be responsible to the Executive Committee.

FYEG is 20 years old now!

17. May 2008.

This year the Federation of Young European Greens celebrated its 20th anniversary during the annual General Assembly, held between the 9th and 11th of May in Berlin. More than 100 young greens from all over Europe gathered in the capital of Germany to attend the event. Irina, Mariana and Benjamin of the Executive Committee of CDN and the new Network Coordinator Milan Mitrovic also participated in the GA.

CDN Youth Exchange 2008 - Prep team meeting

20. May 2008.

This weekend, on Ohrid we had a good and productive meeting that resulted with draft agenda of the conference and quite a big list of the tasks still to accomplish in order to have a quality exchange in June. Besides 3 lectures that we are planning, discussion groups, workshops… we wanted to ensure that participants have opportunity to get to know Ohrid, it’s surrounding, local culture and customs, so we planned 2 excursions and ensured enough free time. We hope you will enjoy it…

CDN Summer Camp 2008 - The Prep team has been selected

CDN Executive Committee had a difficult choice to select prep team members among many applications. CDN EC has decided to invite for the prep team following applicants:Marc Giménez Villahoz - Federation of Young European Greens spokesperson, Benjamin Grochowski - CDN Executive Committe member, Marina Dragomiretzkaya - Youth club of the Bulgarian Green Party activist, Hector Sanjuan Redondo - Jóvenes Verdes International secretary, Gordan Isabegovic - Youth Movement Revolt.
