Call for Members of the Political Platform Group

CDN is happy to announce an open call for members of the Political Platform Group (PPG), which will be tasked with rewriting CDN’s Political Platform (PP) until the next GA in February 2017. The call is open to anyone with strong ties to CDN.

The tasks of the PPG is to formulate in close collaboration with CDN’s Member Organisations (MOs) the Political Platform that sets down CDN’s basic political convictions and demands. The PPG will have an essential role in deciding on the exact format of the PP. It is important to note that it is CDN’s MOs that decide about the content of the PP with the PPG coordinating the work with MOs and drafting the PP based on MOs ideas.

You are the right person for the PPG if you enjoy formulating political aims and demands, if you are willing to work in a international online team and if you have a knack for writing precise texts on sensitive topics. If you are an efficient worker, this task should not take more than 1-2 hours a week until February 2017. You can expect to make important contacts within a large network of international youth organisations and gain experience in writing political texts that will shape the outlook of our organisations for many years to come.

The importance of this task cannot be understated – the political platform is essential as a formulation of the common ideals and demands of our network and shows to potential future MOs, political partners and sponsors what we stand for.

If you want to be part of this please apply until 14 August by filling in the application form.

If you have any questions, please contact Julian (julian@cdnee.org) or Vahid (vahid@cdnee.org), members of CDN’s executive committee and coordinators of this group.
