Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe AISBL (CDN) held its 8th General Assembly from 23rd to 26th of February 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia. The host organisation of the General Assembly, FORa Zeleni Prozor, did amazing work, preparing perfect conditions for meetings and work and welcoming CDN’s delegates and guests. During the GA, the delegates and guests had an opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on the world population growth moderated by the hosts, which provided an excellent warm up before the heated debates on CDN’s new Political Platform. CDN General Assembly 2017

Cooperation and Development Network of Easter Europe (CDN) will hold its 8th General Assembly from 23rd to 26th of February 2017, in Zagreb, Croatia. The General Assembly is hosted by CDN Member Organization Zeleni Prozor.

More than 40 Young Greens from Eastern Europe and beyond will gather for debating, discussing and deciding on CDN’s activity plan for the next year, development of the current strategy plan, new political platform, new visual identity, new Executive Committee members and much more. New CDN Network Coordinator!

We are happy to announce that Sopho Mchedlishvili will start as a new Network Coordinator, a position in CDN Secretariat, in January 2017. Being committed and politically interested, she has a background of Green activism, and is a former member of CDN Executive Committee (two mandates, in 2011 and 2012). She was one of the early members of CDN Member Organization Georgian Young Greens, Georgia. For over four years she had been involved in youth projects, non-formal education and the Green movement. Call for host organization of CDN General Assembly 2017

We are announcing a call for the host of CDN General Assembly 2017.

The host organization will be responsible for the technical coordination of the meeting with support of the CDN Office. While CDN’s Executive Committee will be responsible for the agenda, the local host organization will have the opportunity to organize a session for the delegates and guests. It is CDN’s obligation to financially support the organization of the General Assembly, nevertheless fund-raising assistance from local host will be highly appreciated.

Call for CDN Network Coordinator

The Executive Committee of Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe AISBL (CDN) is announcing a call for a Network Coordinator. Together with the Office Coordinator the Network Coordinator (NC) constitute the Secretariat, who are the appointed officers and legal representatives of CDN. The Secretariat is responsible to the Executive Committee.

The contract is valid for two years and includes a probation period of three months. The contract begins from January 2017 and the work place is based in our office in Belgrade. Being member of the Secretariat of CDN is a highly demanding position, requiring excellent organisational skills as well as substantial knowledge of Green politics, the socio-political context of Eastern Europe and youth positions in Eastern European countries. CDN General Assembly 2016

Cooperation and Development Network of Easter Europe (CDN) will hold its 7th General Assembly from 25th to 28th of February 2016, in Skopje, Macedonia. We are expecting around 30 Young Greens from Eastern Europe and beyond for an interesting and very productive weekend.

The General Assembly is hosted by CDN Member Organization Youth organization of Democratic Renewal of Macedonia (MODOМ)

The General Assembly (GA) is the highest decision-making body of CDN organised by CDN Executive Committee. GA gathers at least once a year and has full power to take any necessary decision in order to realise the objectives of CDN. GA is made of the member organisations and partner organisations of CDN.

CDN at GEF Education and Training event

On 22nd of October Green European Foundation organised a networking and capacity-building day on education and training in Brussels. GEF partners shared knowledge and experience of their education and training initiatives.

On 23rd GEF’s 15th General Assembly took place. It has started with a statutory part of the event where GEF members brought decisions for the following period and continued trough discussions on EU affairs and planning future projects.
