Call for host organisation for CDN GA 2020

CDN – Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe, is announcing a call for host organisations for its 2020 General Assembly!

CDN’s General Assembly is a multiple day event intended for the review of the last year’s work of the Network, legitimizing the plans for the following year, and electing the Executive Committee in charge of executing the Activity Plan for the upcoming year. The upcoming GA will be bigger than ever with a space for thematic discussions and workshops.

General Assembly 2019 – report

Between 7-10 March, Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe held its 10th General Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey. The General Assembly was hosted by our member organisation, Young Greens of Turkey/Genc Yesiller, who did amazing work preparing perfect conditions for meetings and work as well as welcoming CDN’s delegates and guests.

CDN General Assembly 2018

Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe (CDN) will hold its 9th General Assembly and Strategy Planning from 21 – 25 February 2018, in Belgrade, Serbia. The General Assembly is hosted by CDN’s Member Organization Serbian Green Youth.

More than 40 Young Greens from all over Eastern Europe and beyond will gather for debating, discussing and deciding on CDN’s strategy plan for 2019-2022, activity and financial plan for the next year as well as election of the new Executive Committee and much more. Continue reading

Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe AISBL (CDN) held its 8th GenerCDN_General_assembly_2017al Assembly from 23rd to 26th of February 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia. The host organisation of the General Assembly, FORa Zeleni Prozor, did amazing work, preparing perfect conditions for meetings and work and welcoming CDN’s delegates and guests. During the GA, the delegates and guests had an opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on the world population growth moderated by the hosts, which provided an excellent warm up before the heated debates on CDN’s new Political Platform. Call for host organization of CDN General Assembly 2017

 

We are announcing a call for the host of CDN General Assembly 2017.

 

The host organization will be responsible for the technical coordination of the meeting with support of the CDN Office. While CDN’s Executive Committee will be responsible for the agenda, the local host organization will have the opportunity to organize a session for the delegates and guests. It is CDN’s obligation to financially support the organization of the General Assembly, nevertheless fund-raising assistance from local host will be highly appreciated.

Call for Members of the Political Platform Group

CDN is happy to announce an open call for members of the Political Platform Group (PPG), which will be tasked with rewriting CDN’s Political Platform (PP) until the next GA in February 2017. The call is open to anyone with strong ties to CDN.

The tasks of the PPG is to formulate in close collaboration with CDN’s Member Organisations (MOs) the Political Platform that sets down CDN’s basic political convictions and demands. The PPG will have an essential role in deciding on the exact format of the PP. It is important to note that it is CDN’s MOs that decide about the content of the PP with the PPG coordinating the work with MOs and drafting the PP based on MOs ideas. Continue reading

MODOM: Panel on Expectations of Youth from the Upcoming Elections in Macedonia

28th February 2016

MODOM is hosting the General Assembly, the highest decision making body of the Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe ( CDNEE ) which will be attended by delegates from all member organizations and is held from 25 to 28 February 2016 in Skopje.

MODOM used the presence of young Greens from Eastern Europe to introduce them with the needs of young people in Macedonia, closely ahead of the parliamentary elections and organised a panel discussion on youth expectations from the elections in Macedonia. Continue reading
