Caucasus Regional Meeting 2016: Call for participants

Dear friends!

Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe and Georgian Young Greens are announcing a call for participants for Caucasus Regional Meeting, that is taking place in Georgia, Tbilisi from 28th to 30th of October 2016. This year, the regional meeting will focus on the three topics: Climate Change and its effects on Caucasus, LGBT+ rights and Freedom of Expression.

The event will gather green-minded activists from South Caucasus and serve as a platform for discussing the common challenges in the region and setting strategies for solving the problems. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen and support the cooperation and exchange between activists and bridge their local activities. We would like to establish stronger connections and develop joint projects between organizations of the three South Caucasus countries.

We are looking for participants coming from Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

The full cost of lodging (accommodation, food, refreshments) during the meeting will be covered by the organisers, as well as travel costs, for which you will get further indications after being selected.

When selecting the participants, the advantage will be given to CDN member organisations from the region as well as to the Greens/CDN-associated organisations and initiatives.

All sessions will be conducted in English, therefore participants are expected to have a working knowledge of it.

The DEADLINE for submitting applications is Monday, 10th of October 2016 at Midnight (CEST).
