General Assembly 2026

March 28-29

Riga, Latvia

The 16th General Assembly of Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe (CDNEE), took place 28-29 March in Riga, Latvia, hosted by Protests

From the rise of the Green wave in Eastern Europe to a growing community of political and environmental activists, Latvia has so much to offer for the Green and progressive movement in Eastern Europe!

That’s why GA was combined with the political conference, during which we discussed on cultural policy in Eastern Europe and the world, and on the urbanism policy in Riga as an example of our approach to urbanism.

General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of CDN. GA consists of delegates from Member organisations and brings other friends from the Green family to share, network and debate. This year, the main output of GA was brand new Internal Rules of Proecdure - a comprehensive and detailed document that will be a basis of CDN governing structure. We also elected Executive Committee and the Secretary General, adopted activity and financial plan for the next year, amended documents and made many interested discussion.
