Call for Host Organisations: CDN Activities in 2026
The Executive Committee is hereby announcing an open call for the host organisations for the 2026 General Assembly (GA) and Resilience Building Summer Camp.
General Assembly is the most important political event throughout the year for CDN. We are envisioning to have a 2-day event (Saturday and Sunday) in second half of March 2026 or beginning or April 2026 (either Mar 21-22, Mar 28-29 or Apr 4-5), with the preparatory meeting taking place 2 days before the event.
Biodiversity Summer Camp is our main educational activity. This year we focus on empowering young people to advocate for and make policies related to biodiversity protection and restoration. The event will be 6-days long and will take place in July 2026 [exact date to be announced and consulted with the selected host].
You can apply to be a host of any of the events, or only the specific one.
While the role of host organisation demands a significant commitment and comes with great responsibility both before and after the event, it also offers rewarding experiences full of learning and team-building.
Hosting the CDN events has several benefits including:
gaining experience in hosting an international political event
having a space to organise a session during the topical part of the GA
visibility via CDN’s social media
The host organization will need to:
Nominate contact person that will be responsible for communication with CDN Office. You can of course establish bigger team of volunteers!
Provide logistical support (help us with finding accommodation and venue, arranging catering, travel, visas, local speakers etc.);
Create an Info sheet that includes all the general info that can serve participants to arrive/depart to the accommodation more easily

If your organisation is interested in hosting the 2026 GA, fill out and send this questionnaire containing questions about your experience, composition of team and basic logistics, to igor.skorzybot@cdnee.org by 5th November 2025 23:59 CEST.
The Executive Committee will evaluate the applications and make a decision by the 15th of November.
