Zine no. 2

Zines are small booklets used to share ideas, feelings, and experiences in a creative and informal way, commonly used by youth and activist communities to express perspectives that are not always represented in mainstream media.

During our “Canvas of Change” Study Session, for the first time, our participants created a Zine with the theme “Body”. The practice proved to be highly effective and was appreciated by both participants and organizers. For this reason, we decided to continue working with zines.

In December, we created an action team made up of participants and organizers from the Study Session who wished to continue the practice and already had experience working with zines.

Together, they created Zine Vol. 2, focused on the theme “Christmas Bodies.” We invite you to explore Zine Vol. 2 and take the time to reflect on the ideas expressed, as well as on your own perceptions of Christmas bodies.
