Dates of the election: 28th - 30th of August

Meet the candidates!

1) Siyana Boseva, nominated by the Youth for Green Future (Bulgaria)

Introduction to my candidacy - Siyana Boseva

My name is Siyana Boseva and I am a Political Science student from Bulgaria, a youth activist and a member of Youth for a Green Future. My work and interests lie at the intersection of climate justice, human rights and democracy. Through student representation, environmental initiatives and international youth projects, I have had the opportunity to work with young people from different backgrounds and to experience the power of collective action.

I am running for the CDN Executive Committee because I believe in the importance of a strong, connected and genuinely youth-led Green movement in Eastern Europe. I want to bring my perspective, organisational experience and enthusiasm to the network, while learning from and contributing to the diverse community of CDN.

As an Executive Committee member, I aim to focus on deepening connections with Member Organisations and building a stronger and more resilient community and supporting youth-led advocacy across our network.

For me, this candidacy is not simply about taking on a position. It is about taking responsibility and helping create a network where young people are empowered to turn their ideas into meaningful action and social change.

I look forward to collaborating with all of you to make our network more resilient, inclusive, and politically impactful!

2) Pavel Yarash, nominated by the Belarusian Young Greens (Belarus)

3) Amadejs Bruvers, nominated by Protests (Latvia)

Introduction to my candidacy - Amadejs Bruvers

My name is Amadejs (often also Henrijs). I am the international secretary and board member of the og “Protests” in Latvia. It's been almost a year since I got involved with CDN, when I attended the event in Sheptytskyi, Ukraine. It opened the door to finally be in an Eastern European space, but more importantly, to a family of sorts (sometimes the boundaries feel very thin). After the next CDN event, I felt like I needed to give back, and now is my opportunity to do so, especially in such an “emergency.” And I am very hopeful that whoever gets elected, whether it's me or someone else, will make sure the period until the next GA isn't a waiting game, but a fully functional “ship.”

Introduction to my candidacy - Pavel Yarash

My name is Pavel Yarash. I am a Belarusian civic activist and software engineer living in exile in Vilnius, having spent over 2 years in prison for political activism. I am a member of the Belarusian Young Greens and a collaborator with ABF Belarus, where I chaired the Minsk region and have run informal political education for the diaspora in Belarus and Lithuania for years. I'm very interested in building communities and spreading green and social-democratic values across Eastern Europe.
