Taste the Change: Policy Writing Workshop is a 2-day event in Zagreb, Croatia, 23-24.01.2027 that will focus on further developing participants' capacities in writing and advocating for the policy positions, documents, and proposals in the area of food transition. It will be more expert-focused, merging non-formal education methods with local first-hand experience.
The objectives of the activity are:
Strengthening participants’ capacity to write evidence-based policy documents;
Building the skills needed to influence environmental decision-making such as mapping stakeholders, framing arguments for different audiences, and using digital tools for research and data access;
Supporting participants in drafting realistic policy proposals and advocacy plans, and in taking them forward to implementation.
The event is a part of our Taste the Change training programme aiming to strengthen the organisational and advocacy capacity of youth-led and civil society organisations in Eastern Europe to engage in advancing sustainable and more plant-forward food systems in their municipalities, regions and countries. The event will bring together the participants of the Sustainable Food Transition in Eastern Europe event that took part in Brașov and local participants.
