Combat imperial drones or aggressor will escalate.
On September 10th, russian drones once again violated EU airspace - this time in Poland, damaging a home in Wyryki. Only a few days later, similar incidents have shaken Romania and, before that, threatened lives elsewhere across Central and Eastern Europe. Yesterday, three russian planes violated Estonian airspace for over 12 minutes. These are not “mistakes,” as kremlin has denied its attack in Poland. They are deliberate escalations to test the region’s unity and readiness.
As The Kyiv Independent notes, the incursion of 21 Russian drones into Polish airspace was “the most open confrontation since the collapse of the Soviet Union ended the Cold War,” yet the international response remains cautious.
While Western democracies hesitate, russia escalates. moscow feels secure enough to bomb Ukraine, violate EU borders, and still be treated as a “partner” in some international forums. This situation indicates that the current responses are too lenient and not proactive enough. The fact that russia feels safe enough to act this way underscores the need for stronger actions from those in power, such as the EU, to support Ukraine.
👉Therefore, combating imperial drones for CDN means:
- Increasing military aid to Ukraine to ensure victory against russia
- Imposing stronger sanctions on European companies exporting military production to russia
- Expanding sanctions
- Banning russian fossil fuels and agricultural products
- Confiscating frozen russian assets to support Ukraine’s recovery
